Climate change is shaping how we work, how we move through our city, and how our bodies feel at the end of the day.

If you are a woman or gender-marginalised person working in the development sector in Mumbai, this is an invitation to be part of our participatory research study on climate, labour, and well-being supported by the Gender and Environment Data Alliance (GEDA) Small Grants Program, 2025. Using a Feminist Participatory Action Research approach, the study is designed to centre your experiences through photovoice journaling and collective reflection. The aim is to build evidence that can inform stronger labour protections, more responsive organisations, and more equitable urban development practices.

✨ What’s involved
1. Short-term participatory research process involving photovoice journaling.
2. Harvesting workshops in Mumbai (14 June & 2 August 2026).
3. Honorarium of INR 5,000 for all participants.

Mental health institutions owe us care, not custody.

We at One Future Collective are excited to present ‘Care Not Custody’ - an advocacy campaign responding to ongoing rights violations within Maharashtra's public mental healthcare system. The campaign provides accessible patients' rights education and builds comprehensive, community-generated evidence to document the impact of these violations. The objective is to equip patients, caregivers, and human rights advocates with the information needed to demand accountability and systemic reform.
