There is an unauthorised unregulated biweekly sabzi mandi being held at Sector I Jankipuram Lucknow near Arjun Trikona Park. The madi is held every Wednesday and Saturday. The vendors block the roads. There is trafficking jam during the peak hours. Multiple requests have been made to Municipal Corporation to have the same relocated but to no avail. The vendors and buyers fight with residents and create a havoc. When the residents asked the vendors to not block the roads they called people in 100s of numbers and threatened to hit the residents. The residents have filed complaints on CM portal as well. But till now absolutely nothing is being done to regulate the mandi which is only expanding. They leave the place dirty the next posing health hazards as well.
This is an earnest plea to any one who can take up the matter and publicize it so that such unregulated markets are controlled.
