Announcement | NLIU-Singhania & Partners National Client Counselling Competition, 2023

The Moot Court Association of NLIU, Bhopal takes immense pleasure in announcing the NLIU - Singhania & Partners National Client Counselling Competition, 2023, scheduled to take place from 3rd- 5th November, 2023 in the campus of NLIU, Bhopal.

The MCA, with every successive edition of this renowned competition hopes to part every participant, be it client or counsel with an enriched experience and a platform to express their zeal and rigour in respect to the legal sphere.

About the Competition

The competition is one of the most prestigious client counselling competitions organized in the country. It is one of our flagship events and was previously organised in collaboration with Link Legal. The final rounds of the last edition were judged by an illustrious panel comprising Mr. Atul Sharma (Managing Partner, Link Legal), Mr. Salman Khurshid (Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India) and Hon’ble Justice (Retd.) Alok Verma (Former Judge, Madhya Pradesh High Court).

We look forward to making the competition a huge success and a memorable learning experience for all the participating teams.

Format of the Competition

This year, the competition shall be organised in a physical mode. We have a maximum cap of 16 teams. The teams shall be selected on the basis of first come first serve basis. The Registration Fee for the competition is INR 8,500 for a 2-member team. Both the team members shall participate as counsels in the competition.

Timeline for the Competition

• Last Date for Provisional Registration: 10th October, 2023
• Last Date for Final Registration: 15th October, 2023
• Release of the Pools: 25th October, 2023
• Physical Oral Rounds: 3rd to 5th November, 2023
