Our residents colony was formed in 1980's, it's one of the oldest layout formed and sold. Here we have residents from all religions, professionals and industrialists and budding children. We handle our internal problems like water, electrical and plumbing, but we have external problems like - no waste water drainage system, exist mixing of sewage in storm water drainage, we have adjacent- Chandramkudi Eri one of the biggest water body being the main source for water table - now getting contaminated, since our colony is accessible from all sides, securing our residents is the biggest challenge, on our own cost have provided Cameras- 28 now at all entry / exit points and trying to secure ourselves, Municipality does not ensure uniform supply of bore well water to all our residents being supplied from common over head tanks, street lights are not updated with LED bulbs, mostly replaced by our cost, no pavements on either side and partial roads laid , all by lanes are damaged due to rain and in spite the land developer allotted 80 cent of land for park, due to delayed actions, mostly are encroached, till date we do not have park for children and walking path way for elders in the allotted land. Illegal fishing in the CHANDRAMKUDI ERI, drinking and drugs are sold in the banks adjacent to our colony. These are the dangerous things happening in our colony and we require immediate support to make us live secured and safety.. Only from Dec 2018, we have joined together and formed our residents association, started representing our common basic needs, which are getting partially provided and improperly executed our common needs are not fully fulfilled, we filed a RTI to know the amount of work done and balance not provided eg : in the case of our roads recently laid. Hence to the best, any in all social platforms we are highlighting our un fulfilled common needs , only aim to facilitate all the basic needs to our residents. Let's hope our basic requirements are fulfilled in this 40th year of lay out formation Thanks, bye. Regards / Raghupathy, General Secretary.
