Kumaon Literary Festival A literary festival that is not just different but one that is determined to make a difference.

The 4th edition of Kumaon Literary Festival will be held in Kashmir from 18-20 October, 2022. Kumaon Literary Festival (KF) is a project of Indian Cinema Heritage Foundation. An independent and not-for-profit annual literary festival, KLF is the first “travelling” literature festival of the country. Founded by Sumant Batra, an eminent lawyer, social commentator, thought leader and creative innovat

or, KLF is conceptualised as an institution with an eco-system comprising of a number of initiatives, projects and activities. The institutionalised approach to the festival is aimed at maximizing impact and optimize on resources that will help in identifying hidden talent, open avenues and opportunities for writers and increase their access through translations and other means to a larger audience. Tragic I couldn’t buy her book as our books had not arrived at the festival bookstore. Our listeners went back disappointed. I gave my copy to Rashmi, she promised to send hers to me.
