One of India’s biggest residential real estate deals has just been recorded. Essel Group Chairman and Zee founder Subhash Chandra has sold his iconic Lutyens’ Delhi bungalow for a staggering ₹1,260 crore.

➡️ The bungalow is located on Bhagwan Das Road in the prestigious Lutyens’ Bungalow Zone, close to Connaught Place and India Gate.

➡️Subhash Chandra acquired the property in 2015 for approximately ₹304 crore. The latest sale at ₹1,260 crore represents more than a 4x increase in value over 11 years.

➡️The property spans nearly 3 acres in one of India’s most exclusive residential zones where transactions are extremely rare.

➡️Reports indicate the buyer is a Delhi based business family, though the identity has not been disclosed.

➡️The transaction reinforces the growing demand for ultra-prime properties and highlights how trophy assets continue to command premium valuations.
