When an attesting witness denies ex*****on of a document, the document does not automatically fail.

The Court can examine other legally admissible evidence, depending on the document and facts of the case.

Registration records, bank transactions, official testimony, handwriting comparison, expert opinion and surrounding circumstances may help support ex*****on.

A strong case depends on the complete and consistent evidence trail.

A house tax receipt can show that you paid tax and had a connection with the property.
But tax payment alone does not automatically prove ownership.
Municipal records are usually prepared for assessment and tax collection. They are not final proof of title.
A tax receipt becomes more useful when it is supported by electricity and water records, actual use, letters at the property address, repair documents, photographs and reliable witness statements.

An electricity bill or water bill in your name can be useful in a property dispute, but it is not final proof of possession by itself.
The Court may also look at actual residence, use of the property, tax payments, neighbour testimony, actual control, and the steps taken by a person when possession was threatened.
Possession is usually proved through a complete evidence chain, not one document alone.

Divorce is a sensitive and life-changing legal decision. It should not be filed in anger, pressure, or confusion.

Before filing a divorce case, it is important to understand that the matter may involve much more than ending a marriage. Issues relating to maintenance, alimony, child custody, domestic violence proceedings, evidence, financial planning, family reputation, and future security may also arise.

In this video, Advocate Naresh Kudal explains the important points a husband or wife should consider before taking any legal step for divorce:

Maintenance Claim Needs Proof,In a maintenance case, simply demanding money is not enough.

The Court checks the wife’s actual need, including rent, household expenses, medical expenses, child education fees and daily living expenses.

If the wife is caring for children, the child’s expenses become an important factor.
