On account of several delegates facing technical difficulties regarding NEFT transfer and requesting the NLS MUN Board for an exception been made for them personally, the Board has decided to give everyone a fair chance to be a part of the Early Bird Registration Process and have extended applications and payment till 22nd March (Tuesday), 11:59 p.m. IST.

Hello everyone,

1. Introduction
We are extremely pleased to announce that the early bird delegate registration and Executive board registration for the VIII edition of NLS MUN 2017 is open now. Trust us, you would not want to miss it.

NLS MUN is open to school students (9 th to 12 th standard) and college undergraduates and we have around 250 available seats, so the earlier you apply, the better chances you have to find yourself at the conference.

Priority Registration opens on the 15th of February, 2017 (today) to 5th March, 2017. Second round of registration open on 10th March, 2017 to 30th March, 2017.

We would urge you to go through this post, the committees and their agendas and the country matrix before filling the registration form.

2. Student Invite
If you require us to send a student invite to your college or school-
Either e-mail us your school/college name and e-mail ID at [email protected] OR message us the same details on this page.

Gentle reminder: Since allocations are made on the dual basis of order of registration and prior experience, the sooner you apply, the better your chances of getting your preference of countries!

Disclaimer for Executive Board applicants: Please note that we reserve all rights to accept or reject the application and we shall provide no reasons for such rejection or acceptance of the application. It is possible that we might not accept anyone who has applied.

3. Registration details
To apply, send us an email with your delegation's (or individual's) name, prior MUNing experience, and committee and country preference (if any) to [email protected] and fill the delegate registration form which can be accessed from the link provided below in the post.

The registration fees per delegate are as follows:

- Rs. 1500 (without accommodation or food)

- Rs. 2800 (without accommodation but breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner on all days)

- Rs. 3600 (with accommodation for the duration of the conference)

- Rs. 4800 (with accommodation for the duration of the conference, and breakfast, afternoon snacks, and dinner on all days)

Please note that you also need to pay the fees along with your application, and submit proof of the same (either a screenshot of the completed NEFT page, or the filled bank challan) with the email. Your application will not be considered until we have received the payment.

4. Prizes
Best Delegate- Rs. 7000 along with a book on International Relations.
High Commendation- Rs. 3000 along with a book on International Relations.

Chairperson- Rs. 5000.
Vice-Chairperson- Rs. 3000.
Rapporteur- Rs. 2000.

NLSMUN is back with a bang, with bigger, better prizes, larger committees, and an MUN like you've never seen before!

NLSMUN 2016 was a national level Model United Nations conference that saw participation by over 120 delegates from various parts of the country. The event was organized by the National Law School MUN Board from April 8th-10th, 2016, and saw the simulation of the World Health Organization, United Nations General Assembly – Committee On the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, United Nations Security Council, and the All India Parties Meet. Throughout the duration of the event, delegates in the various committees discussed and passed resolutions on issues of international and national importance, including inter alia, the Crimean Crisis, the Ebola outbreak, and others.

The delegates and their faculty advisors were accommodated on the college campus, and the overall feedback of the delegates and faculty was the conference was well organized and the quality of debate, along with the Executive Board was very high. The Executive Board comprised of established MUNers from different institutions, including NLSIU itself, along with the NALSAR University of Law, Christ University, and others.
