Latest Legal Update: 10.04.2023 - Hon’ble Supreme Court constituted a High Powered Committee to oversee the process of verification of the degree certificates of advocates.

The committee will comprises a former Supreme Court judge and two former High Court judges. Senior Advocates Rakesh Dwivedi and Maninder Singh were also named as members of the committee. The Bar Council of India will be at liberty to nominate three members to the committee. The names of the members will be clear once the final order is uploaded.
