Quality Sea Veg Ltd is a company based at Cloughglass, Burtonport, Co Donegal. Manus McGonagle its founder was just a child when he began harvesting "Dulse & Carragheen" from the rocky shoreline of the Donegal coast with his father Manus, Senior. After obtaining his engineering qualifications, Manus started Quality Sea Veg in 1986, with the purpose to harvest the best sea vegetables and sea herbs

to supply the growing demand in Ireland, Europe and beyond for this natural, organic healthy food source, He devised a complete sea veg production system, allowing sea vegetables to be dried, milled, blended and packaged to meet the legal requirements of hygiene regulations in accordance with HACCP. (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points) and tracability for each product produced and dispatched. All Quality Sea Veg products are hand harvested, air dried and hand packed, are suitable for vegans and are organically certified. There are green, red and brown sea vegetables which are all naturally high in minerals and vitamins. Some products may consumed from the packet as a tasty snack, and all may be used in cooking recipes, or as condiments/garnishes to provide excellent nutritional value.
