NEWS UPDATE
As of March 7, 2022, any foreign national from any of the approved list of 23-countries can apply for a VOA (Visa On Arrival) directly upon arrival in Bali. If you can provide proof of two vaccinations plus a booster there will be no quarantine requirements. Please note that this regulation is ONLY VALID FOR DIRECT ARRIVALS TO BALI.

• VOA fee: IDR 500,000.
• VOA validity: 30-days and can only be extended once at the nearest immigration office.
• PCR Swab Test: Negative result of PCR Swab Test administered before departure and a PCR Swab Test upon arrival.
• Accommodation: Proof of a fully paid hotel booking for a minimum of 4 days in Bali.

Indonesian Immigration will be closed on February 28th.
While Bali immigration will also be closed on from March 2nd-4th.
Make sure your Visa is in place and that you hand in your passports no later than February 24th for extensions or new Visas.

He is a skilled writer, trainer and marketer with a deep understanding of Indonesia and its many cultures after spending many years travelling across the archipelago from North Sumatra to Irian Jaya. His experience covers Marketing, Branding, Advertising, Publishing, Real Estate and Training for 5-Star Hotels and Resorts in Bali and Jakarta, which has given him a passion for the customer experience. The government has cancelled the application of level 3 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in all parts of Indonesia during the Christmas and New Year's period.

Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, stated that this decision was taken because Indonesia is better prepared to handle the year-end holiday season. This is reflected in the number of tests and searches which are higher than last year.
