This year, our theme is ‘The Interplay of Checks & Opportunities in the East’. While the Conference explores opportunities in the mainland and the fast-growing Southeast-Asian markets, it engages with the theme underpinning recent developments in the commercial world - Checks and Regulations. The enactment of the Hong Kong Competition Ordinance, the stringent Post-Financial-crisis regulations on IPOs, and the active policing of commercial crimes will be evaluated from the perspectives of some of the most eminent in each field.

The interaction between checks and opportunities is at the heart of concern of current and future lawyers, and anyone keen to brush up his commercial awareness.

The Law Conference 2013 provides a platform for interaction. You will enjoy the chance to network with Graduate Recruitment Partners and Human Resources Managers during the lunch and the refreshment breaks.

The Undergraduate Law Society will conduct membership registration and collect membership fees to facilitate the smooth running and finance of the Society's events. Please find the details of the collection as follows:

Date: 2-3 October, 2013 (Wednesday and Thursday)
Time: 12:15p.m.-2:15p.m.
Venue: Society Room, 5/F, LSK
Fee: $400

For those who have place your book in Second Hand Book Sale, don't forget to come by our Society Room at 5/F to pick up your money or unsold book :)

We will be in Society Room from 11:30pm till 4:30pm. :)
