The bowers.law team enjoyed a hard-earned daytime junk trip last Friday which involved a hike around Po Toi island (after it had stopped raining), a slap-up lunch at the Ming Kee Seafood Restaurant (the salt and pepper squid was the star of the show) and a swim on the way home. It was great for everyone to do different things and relax together out of the office (not “WFJ” - working from junk) and for them to bond with new self-appointed firm mascot, Blackjack (who most enjoyed the ham from the onboard snack table) ! Thank you to Charter Junks HK for arranging a really fun day out on the water, providing such a helpful crew and most of all, for contributing the junk trip as an auction prize at the 2021 annual Daughters of Cambodia charity event organized by talented singer / songwriter, Karen Linker who we recommend to bring some musical class to any live performance at an office (or any other) party ! With all the covid social distancing restrictions in the first half of this year, it only took us 6 months to cash in our auction prize !
