Renovation work on any pitch or even just a lawn takes time, precision and knowledge.
The process can look scary especially when you w**d kill the current surface.
As I always say to customers, you have to trust the process and know that I have over 20 years doing this sort of thing.
It may look daunting, it may look ugly for a while, it may look like you will never get the surface you want. In fact 9 times out of 10 you get a better surface than you started with.
FACT: Most premier league football clubs kill off the pitch at the end of the season to grow in a new pitch for the start of the next. Truth is you never really see what goes on behind the scenes.

I do really miss my time at
Having spent almost 5 years there, I met some great people from staff to players.
This has to be one of the best pitches I have produced in my working career before the 3G went in. You cannot beat real Grass pitches in sport.

Trying to show the wife what a straight line is 🤦🏻‍♂️... Its not going well 😂
Luckily, this piece of ground is not of importance and I had time to perfect the lines before they mattered.
We all have to learn somewhere. Bless her. 100% effort for trying and it's not far off. Could have been worse.

With football season in full swing, another service we offer is pitch marking.
Whether this be Football, Ruby, American Football etc. we can mark it. We have even marked running tracks and school sports day tracks.

I know you might think we sound like a broken record by now 😂 but we really do offer all kinds of services.
We recently visited a local business who had just taken on a new site and needed to get into this caged part of the premises but were unable to due to the thick, dense brambles, w**ds etc.
Safe to say they were very pleased after we had finished. The pictures speak for themselves.

We always do our best with the services we provide. That said, we are not keen on laying turf as there are a number of issues which arise from doing so. (Our opinion only)
At SL Grounds we prefer laying seed instead. The results are far better.
In the pictures you can see the before, during and after effects of such process. As we have just said the results are far better and speak for themselves.

Today is a very sad day for us 😭
A year ago today, we lost our belove Ellie. Ellie went to work with Stu almost every day. She loved to sit in the tractor with him and was loved by everyone who met her.
People used to laugh when she would carry her lead and take herself for a walk. She left a hole in our hearts forever 💔
