When a close friend was at her wits end trying to keep her head above water running her company, with no positivity outcome likely, we were recommended Janet at Griffin and King to help through the terrifying process of liquidating the company. I have enjoyed the last 15 years as a design engineer running my own Ltd Company, However, when my latest Contract was terminated early, due to a downturn in requirements, I discovered that, as a result of government changes in the IR35 Tax situation, a large number of companies would no longer offer contracts to an independent design engineer, operating through their own limited company, and with no income stream, I had to take the difficult decision and close the company.
This was very much unknown territory and caused me a great deal of anxiety in how to deal with the situation and legal ramifications of the liquidation process.
I contacted Griffin & King and was introduced to Janet Peacock. Her friendly manner and understanding of my situation immediately eased my anxiety and she guided me through every step of the process. She was always just a phone call or e-mail away and answered all the questions and concerns that I had in a professional, yet caring manner.
