What a Nuisance! Yesterday, the Supreme Court handed down a judgment which has implications for the law of nuisance . In Fearn v Board of Trustees of the Tate Gallery [2023] 2 WLUK 1, it was held that:
"There was no limit to what could constitute a nuisance. Anything which materially interfered with the enjoyment of rights in land would qualify."

Westlaw UK recently added a new feature to help understand how the courts have interpreted provisions of legislation. When viewing a relevant provision of legislation, a link to Judicial Interpretation will be displayed on the left.
The list of cases will include a summary of how each case has interpreted the provsion.

With the announcement of a coronation on May 6th next year, impress your friends with your legal knowledge... the Coronation Act 1688 sets out the official wording of the oath taken by Kings & Queens. Previous to this, the oath spoken was a bit hit and miss and used "doubtful words".
Who knew Constitutional Law could be so "fun"?!🧐
