I had the pleasure of attending the Carers Community Group launch on Friday with Home Instead! If you are a carer of a loved one it’s important you make time for yourself. No matter what kind of pet you have, make sure the person you would want looking after them is included in your Will. I always include Pets no matter what kind, even the taxidermy ones 😉

Lasting Powers of Attorney's are more important than Wills!

Yes, I have just said that, Martin Lewis says it too. This is something I am really passionate about.

Why?

For me personally, it's because if you/ your family need a LPA, you are still alive but you are in a situation where you are unable to make decisions for yourself. With an LPA the people you trust can make decisions for you. If you are in this situation without a LPA, something is happening to you and you have no control over it and the people you trust will not be able to make decisions for you.
