SUBJECT: FORMAL REJECTION OF NOTICE OF ENFORCEMENT - COUNCIL TAX REF: 70236289
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally reject the Notice of Enforcement dated 09/10/2025 regarding the above-referenced Council Tax account, which claims that the balance remains unpaid.
The premise of this enforcement notice is fundamentally incorrect, as £1200 has been paid. I am not currently in any debt and should I still remain in the property as am awaiting an eviction, I will make my next payment on 01.11.2025.
I can confirm that the above sum was paid on Monday, 24th March 2025, via six separate payments of £200 each made on the same date,
I enclose payment receipts from my post office for your perusal. totalling £1,200.00. These payments were made using the paypoint function at Bubbles Food & Wine in London SE23 1JP confirming these six transactions, which clearly demonstrate that the liability was discharged on the specified date.
I require you to immediately:
1. Cease all enforcement action related to this reference number (70236289).
2. Investigate your payment records urgently to locate the six aforementioned payments.
3. Correct my account balance to reflect the payments received on 24/03/2025.
4. Provide written confirmation within 10 working days that my account has been updated and that the enforcement action has been cancelled.
Please ensure this matter is resolved without delay to prevent any unnecessary escalation or further unwarranted correspondence.
I would also like to add that I suffer with various medical conditions, including a severe mental health disorder which my GP can confirm should you wish.
This stress has really caused my mental health serious detriment.
Yours faithfully,
Andrew Hoareau
