Preparation Is the Key! 🔑

This patio needed a complete overhaul to give the customer the smart, level and long-lasting finish they wanted.

The old concrete slabs were removed, along with some of the soil, as the original patio was uneven, too low and in a complete mess.

The ground was then thoroughly compacted before an MOT Type 1 hardcore base was installed and compacted in several layers to create a strong and stable foundation.

The new porcelain paving slabs were carefully laid using a specialist adhesive to ensure they bonded securely to the cement bed. The patio was then completed with crisp white edging, creating a clean and modern border.

The finished patio has completely transformed the area, providing a beautiful, durable and practical outdoor space.

🏡 Another Exterior Transformation Completed

The front of this Grade II listed property in Peasenhall has been carefully repaired, stabilised and freshly painted.

After discovering areas of crumbling render, I carried out the necessary preparation and repairs before applying a Peel Stop stabiliser and a fresh exterior finish. The brickwork along the bottom was also repainted, leaving the property looking clean, smart and refreshed.

I installed a solid new concrete base, ready for a bespoke potting shed that will be built later in the year.

As part of the work, I also replaced the damaged gate post and built a new step leading from the existing pathway, creating a safer and tidier entrance.

A strong, level foundation that is now fully prepared for the next stage of the project.

New Patio

I returned to see this customer who wanted a little patio built. I had previously built the concrete base and straightened out the rear garden. The new patio area needed to be cleared out and the soil removed. The concrete mixed and the slabs laid and pointed.
