If you own a traditional detached home or period property in Lancashire or across the North West, your roofline defines its character. But up close, that character can hide a serious vulnerability: Advanced Spalling.

We captured this high-resolution angle (taken directly from overhead) during a recent structural inspection.

Look closely at the Ridge Tiles (the tiles at the very peak of the apex):

❌ Active Spalling: The fabric of these stone/clay ridges is literally crumbling and delaminating. This is caused by decades of absorption of coastal rain and intense freeze-thaw cycles.
