Shannon Imray, Private Client Associate, has prepared our latest article explaining the recent increase to probate court fees and what it means for executors and families administering an estate.

From the 13th July 2026, the court fee for applying for a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration has risen from £300.00 to £526.00.

We have recently undergone a 3-year Lexcel assessment; a rigorous full re-accreditation, and we are pleased to say our assessor has identified 14 areas of good practice, whereby we have notably exceeded what the Lexcel Standard requires.

The assessment involves a thorough review of our policies, procedures, and working practices to ensure they continue to meet the rigorous standards required by Lexcel. We are proud that our systems, processes, and commitment to continuous improvement have once again been recognised.

We are proud to be partnered with Cancer Research UK and to have received a Certificate of Excellence for collectively helping Cancer Research UK achieve £1m, through our clients leaving gifts in Wills.

Cancer Research UK is a fantastic charity to support as sadly nearly one in two people will now get cancer in their lifetime and its impact can affect us all.
