Estates worth under £5,000 pay no probate fee at all.

The executor can usually be reimbursed from the estate for costs paid.

The law changes often, so yesterday’s confident answer can be today’s mistake.

A chatbot owes you no duty of care if you act on it and things go wrong.

A regulated adviser checks your facts, keeps up with changing law, is insured and answerable to the SRA.
