Oliver & Hasani Solicitors is looking to employ an Office Administrator/Receptionist at our prestigious Wembley Park office, opposite the iconic Wembley Stadium.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, who will be at the forefront of meeting and greeting clients and dealing with new and existing clients and all other third parties enquiries and and undertaking administrative duties for and on behalf of the staff at Oliver & Hasani Solicitors.

The candidates should be able to demonstrate prior experience of working in a Law firm and preferably should be able to speak fluently both English and Albanian languages. Our office deals with a large number of Albanian clients as well as many other nationalities.

Candidates should be prepared to answer telephone calls and deal with all office enquiries from clients and external organisations and be able to work in a very busy office environment, in tight schedules and deadlines, to ensure that all enquiries are responded in a friendly manner, professionally and confidentially.

The candidate would be able to deal with all duties of an office administration and daily office management and assist and support all staff with their enquiries, reporting to the Managing Director and office coordinator.

Communication skills and very good knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft Office and LEAP technologies are very important in a Law firm so the candidate should have this in mind when applying.

The role will be subject to probationary period and performance related and this will dictate the salary.

Oliver & Hasani Solicitors is looking to recruit an Immigration/Public Law Solicitor or Senior Immigration Caseworker with hands on experience on Immigration and Asylum, Judicial Review/Public Law, to join our busy office in Wembley Park, opposite the iconic Wembley Stadium . The work is Private and Publicly funded and the candidate will be responsible for his/her own casework on all aspects of immigration and asylum work under legal aid and upwards appeals, including all types of immigration applications.

Oliver & Hasani Solicitors holds a Legal Aid Agency contract on Asylum and Immigration and Public Law, including detention contract to undertake legal aid work for asylum claims managed under DAC process by the Home Office. and we also have a DDAS Advice Surgery contract to provide advise to Applicants at several Immigration Detention Centers.

We have a very strong and successful Public Law Team conducting Judicial Review applications in the Upper Tribunal and Administrative Court and appeals to the Higher Courts. Job Title: Level 2 Accredited Immigration Caseworker....................................................................

Oliver and Hasani Solicitors is looking for a committed Accredited Senior Caseworker for Immigration, Asylum and Public Law/Judicial Review, to join our rapidly expanding immigration and public law team.

This is a unique opportunity to be able to influence policy as well as assist clients with their immigration and asylum applications.

Requirements

• The candidate MUST hold a Qualifying Law Degree and a Law Society Level 2 Accreditation in Immigration and Asylum.

• Possess excellent communication kills

• Excellent knowledge of the Legal Aid Agency rules and regulations, including DAC (Detained Asylum Casework) and DDA (Detention Duty Advise Scheme)

The candidate shoould be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge of Judicial Review Applications and Process. Previous experience on Public Law would be very much welcome.

Responsibilities:-

• Your casework will consist of a mix of legal aid and private matters. This will cover all aspects starting from initial applications for asylum or other types of applications to Statutory Appeals, Judicial Review Applications, and upwards appeals to the Higher Courts.

• Will be expected to deal with all types of Asylum and Immigration applications and appeals as well as handle cases of clients detained under DAC.

• Confident in dealing with their own workload as well as supervising staff if necessary,
