This Sunday I’ll be appearing on BBC Politics Live on BBC One (after Match of the Day 2) to speak about the current court backlog and the pressures facing the criminal justice system.

It was, unsurprisingly, a daunting experience I’m no politician but an important opportunity to give a frontline perspective on what’s really happening in our courts.

I even managed to sneak in a cheeky question to the Minister. I didn’t get to say everything I wanted, but hopefully there’ll be a next time.

Grateful for the opportunity to represent the profession and highlight issues that urgently need addressing.
