Is it really too much to expect to be treated fairly by your solicitor?

It is shocking the number of people we speak to each week who have (quite understandably) trusted a professional law firm to run their claim and charge them fairly... just to find that the solicitor takes a whopping chunk of their compensation at the end!

In many cases, solicitors are taking far too much in legal fees, and taking the full 25% is often not justified.

What really gets our goat is people in positions of authority taking advantage. This is why it is our mission to help normal people who have been treated unfairly by large corporations. You trusted your solicitor, why wouldn't you. The truth is that many of them have been taking advantage for a long time and this needs to stop.

This is a question often asked. What if my claim was a long time ago? Can you still take it on?

The answer is this:
As long as you signed up with your solicitor after April 2013 then we can check your case for you.

Remember- the important date is the date you instructed your solicitor, NOT the date of the accident.

In 2019, the Court of Appeal ruled that some solicitors had been unfairly overcharging their clients. Many victims of personal injury are told that their solicitors are allowed to take 25% of their compensation automatically at the end of their claim, but this is not true.

This means that if you have made a personal injury claim after April 2013, you may have been overcharged by your solicitor, and could be entitled to a REFUND.
