When Christmas in Ipswich took an unexpected turn… and a lone pillow found itself wedged halfway up the town-centre Christmas tree, there was only one team to call.

Not quite the festive decoration anyone ordered, and definitely not part of the Christmas brief , but The Height Guys stepped in, fired up the MEWP, and carried out a rescue mission.

Pillow retrieved. Tree restored. Ipswich’s Christmas spirit: fully saved. ✨🎅

Just another day of The Height Guys keeping Christmas running smoothly… even when the emergencies are soft, fluffy and completely unexpected.

This Victorian house in Ipswich was moments away from its own unwanted indoor “white Christmas” courtesy of failing leadwork and a leaking spire.

We refitted, replaced and rebuilt everything needed to keep the water out and the warmth in.

Not all Christmas decorations are festive… especially when they are moss.

🌿 Someone told this roof that moss was “the new tinsel” this year…
We politely disagreed.

A full festive un-decorating later, moss removed, drainage restored, and one very relieved property manager.

BEFORE ➜ AFTER | Chimney Rescue for a Block of 8 Flats

What started as a routine inspection quickly revealed a major problem:

Cracked bricks, missing mortar, failing render and water finding every possible way into the building.

Left untreated, this chimney stack would have channelled rainwater straight into the loft space and down into all 8 flats, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage for the property management company.

Our team removed the loose, dangerous material, rebuilt and repointed the structure, and fully sealed it to prevent any future water ingress.

✔️ Weather-proofing

✔️ Protection for all 8 homes

A great example of why regular high-level inspections matter, small cracks become big problems when they’re 40ft up in the air.
