UK Child Custody Rules Have Changed – What Parents Must Know ⚠️

"Many still believe that 50/50 shared custody is automatic in the UK.

That’s no longer always true.

Recent changes mean courts now place greater focus on:

👉 Child safety
👉 Domestic abuse (emotional, economic, coercive control)
👉 The child’s lived experience
