EEA nationals and their family members risk to become overstayers if they fail to apply on time.

Even EEA nationals (and their family members) who have already obtained permanent residence in the UK are required to make an application under the EU Settlement Scheme by 30 June 2021. If they fail to do so, they will become unlawfully migrants in the country.
