Guildford 4 - Miscarrage of Justice.
In the autumn of 1974, the quiet town of Guildford was shaken by two pub bombings that killed five people and injured dozens more. The IRA was quickly blamed, and a desperate British government, under pressure to bring the perpetrators to justice, sought to find those responsible. In this tense atmosphere, four people—Gerry Conlon, Paul Hill, Patrick Armstrong, and Carole Richardson—became the victims of one of the most infamous miscarriages of justice in British history. They would later be known as the *Guildford Four*, symbols of how the pursuit of justice can turn into a tragedy when truth is sacrificed.
Miscarriages of Justice is dedicated to exposing wrongful convictions, highlighting flawed trials, and supporting efforts to overturn unjust outcomes through expert reviews, advocacy, and case funding.
