MEDICOLEGAL ADMINISTRATOR
A vacancy has arisen for a full time or part-time administrators in our Resolve Medicolegal Team.
Established in 2012 Resolve Medicolegal provides the highest quality personal injury and clinical negligence expert medical reports to solicitors in Scotland. We are passionate about what we do, and we provide a service that is second to none.
The role is focused on customer service and administration. In the role you will carry out various administrative duties in respect of all the cases including logging medical records, checking cases in, making appointments and speaking with lawyers and clients. You will also be required to work as part of a team with other case administrators in cases involving multiple disciplines of medical experts to ensure smooth progress of each case.
This is a busy and demanding role, where duties are diverse and no two days are the same. You will liaise regularly with lawyers, medical experts and the pursuers, both over the phone, by email and in writing. Whether attending meetings, processing expert medical reports or simply chasing information, and arranging appointments you will need to show a sensitive and professional approach at all times.
Essential skills required for the role:
Customer service experience
A good standard of education
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional telephone manner
Computer literate
Personal injury work experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
The successful candidate needs to be energetic, personable, have a positive work ethic and attitude, work well as part of a team and will also work confidently and independently in the role.
Support and training will be provided.
Salary – dependent upon experience
