I had a call from the Eastern Daily Press this week.

They have written a lovely report on my business' expansion. 🙏

We are moving from our current Dereham location next to the NR GYM to the old Case and Dewing Estate Agents office.

A prime town centre location in Dereham at 1 Quebec Street, Dereham, NR19 2DJ.

Important clarification

We’ve recently seen posts and reviews online regarding another business: Legacy-Shield Solutions / Health & Wealth Protection.

We are not connected.

Norfolk Wills & Estate Planning is a completely separate business from Legacy-Shield Solutions / Health & Wealth Protection.
Any issues being discussed online about that business do not relate to us and do not involve any of our clients or our services.

Regarding a former introducer and owner of the separate company, Legacy Shield Solutions

Neil Alexander previously acted only as an introducer/lead generator as part of our business development programme. He was one of around 100 introducers, including some of the most reputable, regulated Accountants, Mortgage Advisors, legal firms, and social media companies who trust us to look after their clients.

We parted company with Neil approximately two years ago, and he has not introduced to or worked with our business since.
He was never directly employed by us, and he introduced will-writing clients to many different reputable businesses nationwide, as well as working in different industries and sectors in client generation.
He was not involved in drafting, approving, or finalising any wills or legal documents for our business.

How our work is delivered (and why clients can feel confident)

All introductions, whoever they came from were always reviewed and handled by our experienced/qualified estate planning professionals; and, where appropriate, for reserved activities, introduced to and prepared through SRA-regulated Solicitors before work was completed.

Our current team

Norfolk Wills & Estate Planning is owned and led by Ross Ratcliffe, supported by our in-house team. Neil Alexander has no involvement in any of our group of businesses. We think Neil started Legacy Shield Solutions his own company late 2024.

We take our professional standards and client care very seriously, and we remain committed to providing a compliant, trusted service. We have served over 6,000 Norfolk and Suffolk families to date.

WITH A WILL V's WITHOUT A WILL

Do you need our help in writing your Will?

In all our cases where Clients have sadly passed with our legally binding Will, the Client's estate has been distributed quickly and efficiently.

Without a Will the Solicitor has reported the last three cases taking 18 months, 2 years and 3 years for money and assets to be distributed.

Without a Will the estates were distributed according to Government laws, which is determined by the laws of intestacy. This is a rigid and lengthy process and caused the families major difficulties.

A family member usually the next-of-kin, had to apply to the court to be appointed as an Administrator to manage and distribute the estate which led to assets being frozen and the family without money.

This caused huge conflict, and the distribution did not reflect the deceased's actual relationships or wishes, leading to disputes.

The legal fees on all the cases without a will were significantly increased.

All of the above was unnecessary if the person had thought about their loved ones and written a Will.
