West Yorkshire Police have today announced that they are launching a video call approach for those who apply for information on their partners under Clare's Law. Victims of Domestic Abuse in the Leeds and Wakefield areas will be able to use the RVR (Rapid Video Response) to allow them to talk with officers via video chat instead of arranging a home visit. This will allow victims to have a much faster response rate from the police, potentially saving them from dangerous situations. If the pilot is successful the RVR is looking to be expanded to reach more who are in need.
