The maintenance issues this month have been through the roof. From broken boilers and broken beds to paint jobs and re sealing. Surely nothing else!

Maintenance issues are inevitable but are also a huge show stopper if they cannot be sorted quickly. Get yourself a team who has the capacity to do these jobs quickly because blocked nights means lost revenue

What a journey💫

Approaching the end of 2025 so time for the final push to finish the year and reflect on what we’ve done.

Lots of driving, full to the brim cars, viewing ugly stuff, viewing cute stuff and transforming spaces. Lots of events, lots of learnings and lots of fun!

We are super proud of what we have done for ourselves and our clients, especially our takings in direct bookings and planning exciting new businesses!

1. Zip and link beds are often smaller than a single and they have an edging which makes them uncomfortable when pushed together. Go for standard, quality single beds 🛌

2. Most bathrooms have grout. Cheap grout will instantly turn orange and white grout is hard to keep white so opt for dark grout or splash backs where possible 🛁

3. Carpets hold smells and cannot be replaced or cleaned easily if they are damaged. Go for a wooden or tiled floor where possible 🔨

4. White or beige interiors look great but can easily be marked and ruined, try to go for dark and then add lighter colours with other furnishings such as tables, chairs, cushions (things that are easy to replace or can be cleaned) 🩶

5. Guests forget and lose keys all the time - have a spare set so you don’t have to get new ones cut in the moment 🔐
