From refusal → to appeal rejected → to victory.

This client came to us after his residence permit was denied, and even the Helsinki Administrative Court rejected the appeal.

We didn’t give up. We filed an appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court AND at the same time submitted a new, corrected application to the Finnish Immigration Service with all mistakes fixed.

Today 12.8.2026 we received the good news:
Residence permit GRANTED. Valid A-permit until 12.8.2030.

Basis: Employment

Never lose hope. With the right legal strategy and fixing the errors, things can turn around.

From Deportation Order to Entrepreneur Residence Permit Granted

This client first received a negative partial decision from the Uusimaa Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre). Based on that, the Finnish Immigration Service issued a negative decision and a deportation order for her entrepreneur residence permit application.

We appealed the decision to the Regional Administrative Court and, at the same time, submitted a new entrepreneur residence permit application in the same category.

Result: With a new positive partial decision from the Uusimaa ELY Centre, the Finnish Immigration Service has now granted a 1-year A entrepreneur residence permit with unrestricted work rights.

Legal strategy and persistence make the difference.
We stand with entrepreneurs building their future in Finland.

VICTORY & COMMITMENT: WE DO NOT STOP UNTIL EVERY RIGHT IS SECURED

Today we received two important updates for one of our clients:

1. Residence Permit Granted
The Finnish Immigration Service has granted our client a residence permit.

2. Court Proceeding Continues
The Helsinki Administrative Court has informed us that our appeal is still active. The Court has requested confirmation whether we wish to continue pursuing the claims in the proceedings.

Our position is clear:
Even after receiving a residence permit, the legal process does NOT automatically stop.

We filed this appeal because our client was wrongfully deported. Securing the residence permit is one important step. Securing ALL legal rights, accountability, and justice for what occurred is the next.

The Court will consider any other rights that need to be secured if we choose to continue. And we are here to ensure that every available legal remedy is pursued.

This is what proper legal representation looks like. We do not stop after one decision. We stay until every right is protected.

From Deportation Order to 4-Year Work Permit!

When our client received a deportation order stating they didn't meet the permit requirements, it felt like the end of the road. But we didn't give up.
We immediately filed an appeal at the Administrative Court and simultaneously worked directly with the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) to fight for what was right.

Today, Migri issued their decision — a 4-year residence permit (A) granted! Valid 29.6.2026 – 29.6.2030.
If you or someone you know has received a negative decision or deportation order — don't panic, and don't give up. There is always a way forward.

Another permit saved from revocation

Our client and spouse contacted us when Migri sent a letter: “We are considering revoking your residence permit.”

One wrong response = lose legal status in Finland.

We stepped in immediately. Studied the case, prepared legal submissions, and responded to Migri on behalf of the client and spouse with the correct facts + legal basis.

Result: Migri decision: `Maahanmuuttovirasto ei peruuta oleskelupaa.`
Translation: Residence permit will NOT be revoked. Client keeps legal status.

Migri revocation cases are serious. Deadlines are short and the law is technical. We don’t guess — we argue based on `Ulkomaalaislaki`.

If you get a “peruuttaminen” letter from Migri, don’t reply alone. Message us before the deadline.

Another win for our client!

When our client’s family visa extension was questioned by Migri due to “overtime work during student residence”, we stepped in.

We responded on behalf of the client and explained, with reference to Finnish law `Ulkomaalaislaki`, why Migri’s consideration was incorrect.

Result: Migri granted the 2-year family extension with unlimited work rights. `Työnteko-oikeus: Rajottamaton`

We don’t just submit forms. We protect our clients’ rights and argue the law.

Need help with Migri applications, explanations, or appeals? Message us. Your case deserves proper legal argument, not just paperwork.

Another Migri Cancellation Case Closed. Permit Retained.

We represented a Sri Lankan student after Migri issued an “Oleskeluluvan Peruuttaminen” notice. Their claim: client no longer met the study requirements for residence permit.

On 5.6.2026, the Finnish Immigration Service issued its decision.
Result: Maahanmuuttovirasto ei peruuta 24.7.2024 myönnettyä oleskelulupaa.
Translation: Migri will not cancel the continuous residence permit granted on 24.7.2024.

A notice claiming “failure to meet requirements” does not mean automatic deportation. With proper legal defense, evidence, and timely response, your right to study and stay in Finland can be protected.

Received a Migri letter about studies, attendance, or permit cancellation?
Don’t wait for the deadline. Legal action at the right time saves your permit.

You Can Fight a Migri Cancellation Notice. We Proved It.

A student and their family came to us after Migri sent an “Oleskeluluvan Peruuttaminen” notice due to study-related issues. It was a stressful time for them.

On 1.6.2026, the Finnish Immigration Service issued 2 separate decisions. The result: Migri decided not to cancel their residence permits.

Permit granted 13.9.2024 – Still valid
Permit granted 9.6.2023 – Still valid

Your studies and your family’s future in Finland matter. A cancellation notice is not the final word.

Received a Migri letter about attendance or lack of studies?
Talk to us early. Timely legal action makes the difference.

We are pleased to announce successful outcomes in 2 separate residence permit cancellation cases.

On 29.5.2026 the Finnish Immigration Service decided not to revoke the residence permits of 2 clients, originally granted on 17.6.2024 and 1.8.2025.

We represented both clients throughout the proceedings, and the decisions allow them to continue residing in Finland lawfully.
