From March 28th to 30th, the third Confucian Entrepreneurs Summit (CGBP) was held in Jinan, Shandong. More than 1,200 business and association leaders, experts and scholars from home and abroad gathered together to discuss high-quality development. Gao Yunlong, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and President of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce (ACFIC), attended the conference and delivered a speech; Lin Wu, Secretary of Shandong Provincial Party Committee gave a welcome speech and announced the opening of the conference; Zhou Naixiang, Deputy Secretary of Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Governor presided over the meeting; Ge Huijun, Chairman of Shandong Provincial CPPCC; Yang Dongqi,Vice Director-General & Party Group Secretaryof Standing CommitteeofShandongProvincialPeople’sCongress also attended.
Gao Yunlong said that under Xi Jinping's new era socialism with Chinese characteristics ideology，the CPC Shangdong provincial committee as well as government has made high-quality development its top priority task by "leading ahead" which is forming a new situation where development vitality is bursting out competitively while all undertakings are moving towards prosperity. He believed that through holding this summit for entrepreneurs who follow Confucianism principles will better accelerate promoting building "close" "clean" political-business relations in order to create an atmosphere more conducive for entrepreneurs to work hard in starting businesses in Shandong province. He hoped that all entrepreneurs would take this opportunity to unite cooperation strengthen exchanges win-win development achieve more cooperative projects make greater contributions to promote sustained healthy economic growth build modernized country modernized shangdong.
Lin Wu stated that Shandong always remembers General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions on solidly promoting high-quality development so as to stride forward toward socialist modernization strong province construction in the new era. Today's Shandong has a more solid foundation for development, a stable and powerful development trend, broad prospects for development space, abundant and strong driving forces for development, and continuously optimized environment for development. It has already stood at a new starting point of development. Facing the future, Shandong will always focus on high-quality development as its top priority task，take green low-carbon high-quality first pilot zone construction as its grip to strive to shape new dynamics and advantages in terms of developing green economy，expanding market share，upgrading industries，building innovative-driven ecology，creating an open platform with international standards.
Xu Pengcheng attended the opening ceremony of the conference, meetings with leaders from provincial party committee and government as well as forums on transformation of old & new drivers towards high quality growth etc., he also had discussions with Yu Haitian,Vice Secretary of Jinan Municipal Party Committee&Mayor. During the opening ceremony,PowerChina New Energy Company participated in key investment projects signing ceremony.
