🚨 UPDATE: Pregnant ment@lly ill Woman in Yaoundé moved to Jamot Hospital
Influencer Nchang Belinga (Joyceline) spent the entire night praying for Madame Bernadette, the m€ntally unstable pregnant woman she found abandoned at Marché de Fruits in Yaoundé.
She took Bernadette to Yaoundé General Hospital, where doctors examined her and confirmed that both mother and baby were in good condition, despite the fact that she had never attended a pr€natal cpnsultation. Bernadette is now 35 weeks pr€gnant.
However, the h0spital was unable to admit her because of her aggr€ssive behavior, which doctors said could pose a r!sk to other patients. She was later returned to the streets around Marché de Fruits.
Determined not to give up, Nchang Belinga began searching for Bernadette's family, believing that any support she offered should be done with their knowledge and consent.
She eventually located the family, whom she described as humble, respectful, and welcoming.
They shared Bernadette's story, explaining that she has struggled with m€ntal illness for years.
According to them, they believe her condition has a spir!tual cause and have tried different forms of treatment without success. They also revealed that the area where she was found was the same neighborhood where she had previously engaged in prost••ituti0n.
Madame Bernadette had 4 children. One passed away. The remaining 3 are doing just fine.
Following growing public attention, the Regional Delegation of Social Affairs intervened and transferred Bernadette to Jamot Hospital, where she is now receiving specialized care.
The hospital too na wah ! Only chakara
Nchang Belinga continues to visit her, bringing food and offering emotional support as she awaits the birth of her child.
The story has touched many hearts, especially because Nchang Belinga sacrificed an entire day of her fried rice business to remain by Bernadette's side after finding her sleeping helplessly on the bare tarred road.
Her act of compassion has been widely praised as a powerful message that kindness can change lives. ❤️
