Interspecies communicator Anna Breytenbach speaks on shark "attacks". The change in understanding and compassion is remarkable when we take the time to look through their eyes, instead of our own.

This beautiful Barn Owl's heart-shaped face is more than just pretty, the feathers form a facial disc which acts as a satellite - to direct sound waves to the owl's asymmetrical ears. This assists in their incredible hearing, and therefore hunting abilities...they can hear the heartbeat of a mouse from 30 ft away!

Barn owls are also strongly linked to shamans and are shrouded in mysticism and mystery. They have the ability to help us see beyond the veil, to link heart-centered intuition with our minds, bringing whatever is in darkness to light.

October 4th is the Feast of St. Francis, the Patron Saint of Animals. St. Francis is among the earliest and certainly most celebrated of animal communicators, known for his connection and ability to speak with the animals.

"Not to hurt our humble brethren (the animals) is our first duty to them, but to stop there is not enough. We have a higher mission--to be of service to them whenever they require it... If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men." - St. Francis of Assisi

A wonderful video clip about yet another reason whales are incredible beings... Whales have the ability to reverse climate change. Everything in nature has an important role and ecosystems will naturally rebalance if given space to do so.

Today is . Please join me in celebrating these magnificent creatures, holding them in our hearts, and seeing them safe from the poaching that threatens their continuation in the wild.

A message and a prayer from the Collective Consciousness of Rhino:

"Humanity is experiencing a great emptiness. Hearts and minds are disconnected, walking through the world, but not seeing, blind to the beauty that is all around them. Rhino, large and powerful, our skin like armour, we have been targeted. People see us, and think we are different. They think that the horns we grow have magical medicinal properties. They are part of our bodies and ours alone. Looking externally, people seek to fill the void they find, cure the illness they face, placing all their hope and value upon the powder of the ground horn. Do they not realize the brutality involved in its acquisition? The pain and trauma that is embedded in the memory of our cells? A substance acquired in such a way could never be healing. Humanity must wake up. There is a spiral of chaos, growing more scattered and more disconnected as the plants and animals on our planet are destroyed without thought. You cannot live without us. Each species destroyed is a part of the whole that is lost, and cannot be replaced. Each one of us plays a part in the collective. First as part of our own species, then in the greater whole. All are connected. The intentions and actions must be stronger of those who know this as truth. Stay focused on this, and pour love and compassion out to those who do not understand. They are the ones who suffer the greatest."

May the Rhino stay strong, stand tall and proud. Our beautiful horns, the target for our demise, remain intact. There is no need to poison, or remove it so that we might live. We pray for the people who seek to use our horn as medicine. Let their eyes and hearts be opened to known that what they take from our horn is found in their own bodies. It is not the answer. Our species is crying out - enough - how many more must be slaughtered before the perceptions of humankind shift? The Rhino hearts of the world unite, and see all, particularly those in South Africa, safe and protected. We pray for the forgiveness of those involved in our poaching may they find a better way to support themselves, as in killing our Rhino, they kill part of themselves. We see all Rhino as whole, healthy and magnificent, and safe to roam the lands, proudly displaying the horn. May people respect us, see us as fellow beings, and let us live. May the Rhino numbers of those poached grow less and less, our population blooms and flourishes. And so it is.

An incredible triumph! The unspeakably cruel practice of bear bile farming in Vietnam is dramatically decreasing and will be completely eradicated by 2020. There are already 550 rescued bears living in sanctuary now, thanks to the persistence of Animals Asia's founder, Jill Robinson.

https://www.animalsasia.org/intl/media/news/news-archive/bear-bile-farming-to-be-eradicated-in-vietnam-by-2020.html

It follows today’s announcement by Vietnam’s Traditional Medicine Association that says its members must continue to pursue alternatives to bear bile and has promised a complete end to its use by 2020.

So much gratitude and respect for Dr. Jane Goodall. She was at the forefront of recognizing animal sentience, and shares here why we should see them as fellow beings - as they are.

At the forefront of organizations in support of lions, at the level of the lion consciousness, is the Global White Lion Protection Trust. Founder and CEO, lion conservationist Linda Tucker shares what is indeed a lion-inspired vision and invitation for moving forward in the wake of such events…helping humanity to embrace the lionlike qualities within ourselves…those that impact us so deeply when we look and these awe-inspiring, majestic creatures.

Linda and all at the White Lion Trust are deeply saddened by the death of Cecil the Lion in Zimbabwe. The public outcry to this has been immense! We would ask all of our supporters to focus on the positives that can be gained from this dreadful tragedy. This worldwide condemnation has the ability to activate monumental change that is so desperately needed for all lions. Its time for the laws to change, and for all lions to be protected. There are a huge number of petitions gaining significant support, we ask you all to keep the momentum going by signing and sharing these. Below are some recommended petitions, but there are others.

Lets all ensure that Cecil will be remembered forever in our hearts and minds, by bringing about the change the world needs now.

This beloved lion was tragically shot by a Minnesota dentist who paid $55,000 to do so. (788207 signatures on petition)
