Biography
Chrissy is born and raised in the Niagara Region and completed her Diploma from Niagara College in the year 2000. Chrissy has worked as a law clerk for twenty (20) years specializing in many areas of law including but not limited to Real Estate Law, Family Law, Litigation, Corporate, and Estate Law. Chrissy is now the owner and operator of her own successful business as a freelance law clerk operating as Chrissy Legal Services.
She began her career as a title searcher in the Land Registry Office learning the original ways of real estate. She learned how to properly search title, identify issues on title and how to rectify those problems. Chrissy has learned both the original ways of real estate and the current Land Titles and Electronic registration.
Chrissy then became a clerk for a very busy sole practitioner, worked her way to senior clerk, manager and the right arm of the lawyer wherein she was managing the real estate files, drafting the documents, compiling the files, registering, and doing all the accounting. She was also the clerk who drafted all the pleadings for the lawyer in Family Law, Litigation, Corporate, Estates including Wills and Power of Attorney. Chrissy also did the training, the bookkeeping and the payroll.
Chrissy has a very wide range of experience in many areas of law that is rare to find in a clerk. She has a passion for making every transaction as stress free as possible for the lawyers, clients, and all parties involved in any situation and can handle the most complicated files with her expertise. Chrissy is very professional and compassionate and puts her heart and soul in every file. Chrissy believes that every client is equally important and deserves the very best of quality service. Chrissy works around the clock to meet every deadline.
