IMMIGRATION… is now a large part of my wedding business. The couples I meet from other countries are always so appreciative. I received this last week from a young couple from India.

We are incredibly grateful to our marriage officiant Faye Beaton for making our special day so smooth and beautiful. From the very beginning, she guided us with professionalism and warmth. She provided us with a well-written script that felt personal, meaningful, and perfectly suited to us as a couple.

On the wedding day, everything was organized and stress-free because of her support and calm presence. She truly made the ceremony memorable.

Even after the wedding, she continued to help us by guiding us through the process of obtaining our legal marriage certificate for immigration purposes. Her ongoing support meant so much to us during such an important time.

I have been marrying couples in Truro and beyond for several years. My Licence was expiring and I recently had to make the call whether to renew or not for one final term. This has been a wonderful journey.

Although I didnt plan to still be doing this, because of my age…I fully intended to retire, couples still have faith in me and I am still receiving requests. So this will be my last term and of course I can step down at any time. To all of you who trusted me, shared your story with me and continue to support me thank you …Merry Christmas 🎄!

ALL of the Weddings I officiate are special and unique! I am openly admitting my LOVE for animals who are included in the Weddings. BUT one couple I recently married at the Peg knocked it out of the park. Jaeden and Ethan had explained to me when we met that most of their friend/family group are animal lovers as well!

Besides having guest favors available for the guests, they also had a station set up to enable pet lovers to take a treat bag home for their beloved cat or dog! This melted my heart…so thoughtful!

Yes even the chickens are in attendance at times! AND …Sam the Man loved his wedding treats ! SO THOUGHTFUL of the Mr & Mrs!

One of my specialities is performing ceremonies for people from other cultures. I do alot of ceremonies for people who are here from India and many requiring help and guidance with documentation. It is a true gift to chat with them, learn from them and guide them ! This week I had the pleasure of meeting and marrying Harmanjot and Manvir from Punjab India….what a beautiful couple! And they shared some delicious Indian food with me before I left. Lovely family! I wish them all the best in our Town!
