Looking for the “easiest” PNP?

That may be the wrong place to start.

Provincial Nominee Programs work through individual provincial and territorial streams, each with its own requirements.

Your skills, education, work experience, occupation and how your profile fits the nominating jurisdiction can all matter.

For an Express Entry-linked nomination, receiving a provincial or territorial nomination adds 600 CRS points.

But those points come once the profile and pathway has aligned.

Do not choose a province based on hearsay.

Start with where your profile genuinely fits.

Map the options before choosing the pathway.

Message Avandra Immigration to discuss your PNP route.

Is your Express Entry strategy built around just one CRS number?

CRS matters, but it is only one part of the system. Express Entry also depends on program eligibility, your position in the pool, the type of invitation round, and whether you fit the requirements of a category-based round.

That means the better question is not only, “What is my CRS score?”

It is also:
Which program am I eligible for?
Which rounds could apply to my profile?
Does category eligibility affect my pathway?
How can I improve my score?
How strong is the profile as a whole?

Build the profile with the full pathway in mind, not just the score.

Planning to study in Canada with your spouse?

Admission to a Canadian school does not automatically mean your spouse or common-law partner qualifies for an open work permit.

Since January 21, 2025, eligibility for spouses of international students has been limited mainly to students in master’s programs of at least 16 months, doctoral programs, certain professional degrees, and other specifically eligible programs. The student must also hold a valid study permit.

That is why the family pathway should be reviewed alongside the study program, not after admission to a program.

Plan the student and spousal permits together before applying.

Message Avandra Immigration to have your situation reviewed.

Are you planning to bring your parents or Grandparents for a visit to Canada?

Both Visitor Visa and a Super Visa support family visits, but they are meant for different situations.

Visitor Visa generally supports stays of up to 6 months.

A Super Visa is specifically for eligible parents and grandparents and can allow stays of up to 5 years at a time, with additional requirements for host’s income, private health insurance and an immigration medical exam for the parent.

An expert can review the length of stay and eligibility requirements and advise which one of the two works best for your situation.

Working part-time while studying in Canada?

Eligible international students can work up to 24 hours per week off campus during regular academic terms. During a scheduled break, eligible students may work unlimited hours. Students cannot begin work before their study program starts.

The number of hours is only part of the rule. Your eligibility and study permit conditions still matter.

Before accepting an extra shift and ending up in a compromised position; Pls know your rules.

Save this before travelling to Canada.

Planning to study in Canada with a PGWP in mind?

A Post-Graduation Work Permit is not automatic. The specific DLI and program, program length, full-time study status, application timing, language requirements and field of study, where applicable, can all affect eligibility.

That is why PGWP planning should happen **before you pay the deposit**, not after graduation.

Check the full study-to-work pathway before choosing your program.

Message Avandra Immigration if you need help reviewing your study pathway.

Planning to study in Canada? Your proof of funds needs to show more than just the balance in your account.

For a student studying outside of Quebec,in addition to tuition and transportation; the current 1st year living expense requirement is **CAD 22,895**. Your financial documents should also show how your studies will actually be funded.

A strong financial plan is not about showing the biggest number. It is about showing a credible, well-supported plan for your studies.

Have your finances reviewed before you submit your study permit application.

Message Avandra Immigration for guidance.

EP 15 | CLIP 03 | BEFORE CANADA, ASK YOURSELF: WHY CANADA?

A successful immigration journey begins before an application is submitted.

Sanjeev Verma, RCIC, Founder of Avandra Immigration Services and former IRCC & CBSA Officer, explains why prospective immigrants should first understand what they want to achieve in Canada.

Your goals matter. Your preparation matters. And the pathway you choose should make sense for your circumstances and your long-term plans.

Before asking, “How do I move to Canada?” start with a more important question:

Why Canada, and what are you hoping to build here?

TRUST FACTS. VERIFY EVERYTHING.
