Police are looking for the occupants a pickup truck after a serious collision in Uxbridge.

On Sunday, August 8, 2021 at approximately 9:13 p.m., members from North Division were called to the intersection of Lake Ridge Road and Goodwood Road in Uxbridge for a serious motor-vehicle collision involving four vehicles.

A white Ford F150 pickup truck was travelling eastbound on Goodwood Road at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a white Ford Escape, forcing the Escape into the intersection where it collided with two additional vehicles. The white Ford F150 left the roadway following the collision where it burst into flames. The occupants of the Ford F150 were able to exit the vehicle; however, they fled the scene on foot before police arrived.

The investigation has revealed that the white Ford F150 was reported as stolen from Lindsay earlier in the day. This is currently under investigation.

The occupants of the white Ford F150 are described as:
Occupant #1: female, white, approximately 25 to 30 years of age with a slender build with dark hair.

Occupant #2: male, white, approximately 25 to 30 years of age, with blonde hair partially shaved on the sides and a medium build. The couple had a medium-sized dog with them, possibly a golden retriever.

In total, six people involved in the collision were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Four adults and a 14-year-old were taken to a local hospital, while a 2-year-old was transported to a Toronto-area hospital.

Members of the DRPS-Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The area of the intersection was closed for several hours while evidence was collected.

Officers from North Division have arrested a male in relation to an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Port Perry.

On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at approximately 4:30 p.m., members of North Division were called to Pharmacy Associates on Water Street in Port Perry. The suspect entered the pharmacy and brandished a knife. The suspect took items and fled on foot.

Members from North Division attended the area with the assistance of Air1 and K-9 units. After searching the area, the suspect was located and arrested.

The victims did not suffer any physical injuries.

Paul HANSEN, age 32 of No Fixed Address, is charged with Robbery, Disguise with Intent, and Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose. He was held for a bail hearing.

Investigators are looking for a male suspect in an armed robbery of a convenience store in Courtice on Tuesday evening.

On Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 9:36 p.m., members of East Division were called to Daisy Mart Convenience store on Nash Road in Courtice. The suspect who was armed with a hatchet, entered the store and attempted to purchase items but did not have any money. The owner refused to comply and the suspect fled the scene.

Investigators are also investigating a separate incident at the Food Worth's Variety, on Trulls Road. At approximately 8:55 p.m. a male entered the convenience store carrying a bag and walked to the counter. The suspect placed the bag on the counter and demanded money. The staff member told the suspect to leave and the suspect left on food heading North on Trulls Road. It is believed that the suspect in this incident is also responsible for the robbery at the Daisy Mart.

Neither of the victims received any physical injuries. Officers searched the area for the suspect, with negative results.

The suspect, is described as male white, 20-35 years, approximately 5' 10" with a slim build. He was wearing a beige coat, a light brown hoodie and light coloured pants. The suspect was armed with a hatchet in the Daisy Mart incident.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a man wanted in a homicide investigation.

On Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 5:40 p.m., police responded to a call for a shooting at 35 Trehorne Drive.

It is reported that:

- at approximately 5:30 p.m., two men were in a vehicle driving northbound on Scarlett Road

- another vehicle drove up beside them and the occupants began to shoot at the men

- the victims' vehicle was struck several times by bullets

Habil Abdilahi Hassan, 21, of Toronto, died as result of his injuries.

Antwan Triston James, 18, of Toronto, was identified as a suspect and is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for:

1. First-Degree Murder

2. Attempted Murder

He is considered armed and dangerous.

The investigation is currently ongoing and officers are actively working to identify a second suspect.

Suspect #2 is described as a man, black, 20-25 years, wearing light coloured jeans and a light blue surgical mask.

Investigators continue to urge witnesses or anyone who was in the area, at the time of the shooting, to contact them.

Investigators are trying to identify a male who was seen committing an indecent act near the Waterfront Trail in the area of Shoal Point Road and Ashbury Boulevard in Ajax.

On Saturday, March 27, 2021 at approximately 12:00 p.m., a male was observed committing an indecent act by witnesses near the Waterfront Trail at Shoal Point Rd. and Ashbury Blvd. in Ajax.

The suspect is described as a male, white, in his 50's with very short or shaved grey hair. He was wearing a jacket with red markings and dark pants.
