Each June, LGBTQ2IA+ communities around the world celebrate Pride Month in honour of the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan. The riots were a pivotal moment in LGBTQ2IA+ history and are widely recognized as a catalyst for the modern LGBTQ2IA+ rights movement.
Pride Month is also an opportunity to reflect on the ongoing pursuit of equality, inclusion, and human rights, and to support LGBTQ2IA+ individuals and communities.
