PGWP Mistakes! - I promised y’all I would come back with the lotion results 😂 so HERE WE ARE.

And yes… there was STILL this much lotion left in those bottles. 😭

But there was actually a bigger reason I brought up these lotion bottles in the first place.

Think about it…

lotion companies have been making lotion for HOW MANY YEARS?! Yet somehow we still have bottles where you can’t get all the product out without cutting them open. We know the problem exists. They know the problem exists. And yet… here we are. 😂

And that was my point when talking about IRCC and your PGWP.

Sometimes a system can have problems that everybody knows about, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the system is going to solve every problem for YOU.

When it comes to Canadian immigration, you have to know the rules, do your research, ask questions, and make informed decisions about YOUR situation.

Because something that seems small can end up creating a much bigger problem.

And if you have absolutely NO CLUE why I’m cutting open lotion bottles while talking about Canadian immigration 😂😂😂 you need to go watch the full video.

Do we romanticize having the village? 🇨🇦

08/12/2026

Who is your village?

One of the hardest parts of the Sandwich Years—especially for many immigrants—is navigating life without family close by.

No parents around the corner.
No built-in babysitters.
No one to call at a moment's notice.

Kristina shares a powerful reminder: when you don't have a village, sometimes you have to build one.

For many, that village becomes close friends, neighbours, a church family, or a supportive community who step in, show up, and become chosen family. Sometimes, those relationships become so special that your children call someone else "Grandma."

Watch or listen to Kristina's full story and discover how community can become one of life's greatest gifts.

💬 If you've had to build your own village, where did you find it? We'd love to hear your story below.
