Did you know that the only time you can revoke an offer, is BEFORE it has been accepted? Remember, that is only the case IF you are properly communicating the revocation.

If you revoke an offer AFTER it has been accepted, there might be some fees and liabilities.

WHAT IS AN EXCLUSION OF LIABILTIY CLAUSE? 

•Scenario: You go to your favourite gym and you want to buy a membership with them. They explain the conditions of the membership and they ask you to sign an agreement. You read over it and you notice that it includes an EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY clause. You wonder WHAT AM I SIGNING?!

•Explanation: This clause saves the gym from liability. Normally, this type of clause states that if you (client) get injured, the gym is not responsible for any of your injuries.

What is a consent letter and when should it be used?    

•A consent letter that a notary or lawyer writes for you, demonstrates that Canadian children have permission to travel abroad from parents or guardians who are not accompanying them.

•you might need a consent letter if your child is under the age of Majority (depending on the province) and is traveling alone; with friends or relatives or with a group.
