Farrow Hicks McDade Law is also very excited to welcome Abir Ayoub to the team!

Abir joined us on June 16, 2025.

Abir holds a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from Dalhousie University. She was called to the bar this month.

While in law school, Abir represented clients before the Youth Criminal Court and the Residential Tenancy Board through her involvement at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic and participated in justice access initiatives with Path Legal and the Elizabeth Fry Society.

Farrow Hicks McDade Law is excited to welcome two new lawyers to our team! First up, is Jacob Glover.

Jacob Glover joined us on June 1st. He has a background in ancient philosophy, contemporary continental philosophy, law, and restorative justice. For the past few years, Jacob has focused on creating more meaningful justice experiences in sport as well as centering wellbeing in the delivery and governance of Canadian sport. His practice ranges from real estate and corporate law to sport adjudication and dispute resolution.

Farrow Hicks McDade Law will be collecting clothing donations. We are encouraging anyone with clothing they can donate for those who lost their homes in the fire to drop them off at our office.

Mitchell worked with our firm as an associate from October 2019 to April 2022 and we are very pleased that he has returned as partner! We are happy to welcome a new associate to the firm-- Imogen Phipps-Burton!

Called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2022, Imogen completed her articles at the Halifax Regional Municipality, where she benefited from a wide range of experience. Imogen joined us in January 2023, and has taken on a wide range of work, including family law, wills and estates and property litigation.
