✨ On October 25th, YGR Immigration Services was honored when its founder, Yanique Green-Ricketts, was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Black Women to Watch for 2025 in the Business & Entrepreneurship category. 💼🌟

🏆 The award was presented at the Black Pearls Gala, hosted by Canada’s International Black Women of Excellence (CIBWE), an organization that celebrates the outstanding achievements of Black women across Canada. A highlight of the evening was receiving the award from The Honourable Marci Ien, a Canadian politician (former minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth of Canada), journalist, and television personality whose distinguished career in both media and public service continues to inspire women to lead with purpose and passion. 🙏🏽✨

YGR Immigration Services, in partnership with KC Used BMW Parts, is organizing a relief container shipment to Jamaica departing November 8. We’re collecting essential items to support youth and families affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Many of our community members have loved ones directly impacted. Together, we can make a meaningful difference. 💛💚🖤

YGR Immigration Services & CCAWR is collecting essential items to support youth and families affected by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica. Many of our community members have loved ones directly impacted, and together, we can make a difference.

YGR Immigration Services launched a heartfelt initiative this past April through May, collecting gently used and new items like clothing, toys, books, and more. We received donations from:

- Miami, Florida, USA
- St. Catherine, Jamaica
- St. Ann, Jamaica
- St. James, Jamaica
The goal? To host a Fun Day / Give Back event in partnership with the Olivia Smikle Foundation at the Brandon Hill Primary School in Clarendon, Jamaica.

We documented every step of the journey, and we can’t wait to share Part 2, where you’ll see firsthand the positive impact these donations had on the school and its surrounding community.
