Apparently “vacation mode” looks a little different when you own an irrigation company. 😄📱🚢

Jordy is spending the week on an Alaskan cruise with family, taking in the views, enjoying a well-earned break… and, of course, still checking client messages and emails along the way.

Because even when he’s away, he wants to make sure the team back in Calgary has what they need and that clients are being looked after.

That’s just Jordy.

He works hard, cares about the details, and doesn’t completely know how to leave the phone alone. 😂

💧 How did you get into irrigation?
“My brother Jim’s sprinkler business was growing like crazy in the late ’80s and he needed help. I jumped in… and we were soon installing 100–200 systems a year.”

🔧 What’s the #1 tool you reach for on a service call?
“My Rain Bird sprinkler adjustment tool. I use it all the time.”

🌱 What’s one thing you wish Calgary homeowners knew?
“You don’t have to settle for poor coverage. A properly designed system should keep your lawn and plants healthier while using water efficiently.”

😂 Weirdest sprinkler problem you’ve ever seen?
“True story! I got a call from a homeowner saying he needed help getting his system fixed because it was getting the inside of his house wet. I was sure he was making it up, but when I got there and saw it myself, he wasn’t joking. One of heads sprayed directly at the front door… and another sprayed water high enough to get through an open second-storey window. I’ve never forgotten that one!”

🚢 And when you’re NOT thinking about sprinklers?
“Travel. Especially cruises and seeing somewhere new.”
