Greetings from IRC !

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has announced that the Customs Bond Management System (CBMS) will be mandatory for all bond-licensed entities effective January 1, 2026.

To ensure faster, more transparent, and efficient service delivery, all bond-related services, related to the issuance of Utilization Permission (UP), must be processed exclusively through the CBMS platform.

From the effective date, no UP-related services will be provided through any other method for bond-licensed institutions.

As per Section 81 of the Companies Act, 1994, every company is required to hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) once in every calendar year. In accordance with Section 183, the AGM must be held within nine (9) months from the end of the financial year.

If the Company has previously followed the calendar year for holding its AGM—ending on 31 December 2025—please note that the Company cannot exceed the calendar year, as only one AGM may be held per calendar year under Section 81. Additionally, within this timeline, the Company has no option to seek a time extension from the Registrar.

Please disregard this notice if the AGM documents for the financial year ended 30 June 2025 have already been filed with the RJSC and the certified copy has been obtained.
