Peya Jannatul, this name is not only limited in fashion industry but also she is a lawyer, currently practicing in Supreme Court of Bangladesh. She has been the first name of the anchor for Cricket World Cup 2019 in England from Bangladesh. She is also an philanthropist and an animal lover. In 2023, she started her new dream and mission to develop Personality Development Hub for mass people and Modeling Institution for models called Picture Perfect.

গাজীপুর সাফারি পার্কে প্রায় ৯ বছর ধরে অত্যন্ত সংকীর্ণ ও ছোট কক্ষে বন্দি অবস্থায় চরম অবহেলায় বেঁচে আছে দুটি লেপার্ড।

২০১৭ সালে যশোর থেকে পাচারের সময় উদ্ধার করা হয়েছিল দুটি লেপার্ড শাবককে। তাদের মাত্র তিন সপ্তাহের অস্থায়ী কোয়ারেন্টিনে রাখার কথা ছিল। কিন্তু সেই অস্থায়ী বন্দিত্বই এখন প্রায় নয় বছরে গড়িয়েছে। শাবক দুটি আজ পূর্ণবয়স্ক, অথচ তাদের থাকার জায়গার কোনো পরিবর্তন হয়নি।

লেপার্ডের জন্য প্রয়োজন সূর্যের আলো, পর্যাপ্ত জায়গা ও উচ্চতা। কারণ এরা স্বাভাবিকভাবেই উঁচু স্থানে থাকতে পছন্দ করে। কিন্তু তাদের রাখা হয়েছে এমন একটি সংকীর্ণ আবাসনে, যা তাদের প্রয়োজন বিবেচনা করে তৈরি করা হয়নি। এছাড়াও তাদের ইউরিনেশনের সমস্যা রয়েছে এবং দুর্গন্ধের কারণে আশপাশে যাওয়া কঠিন হয়ে পড়েছে। ঠিকমতো পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্নতা নিশ্চিত করা না গেলে তারা অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়বে।

আরও উদ্বেগের বিষয়, অ্যানিমেল ওয়েলফেয়ার ফাউন্ডেশনের অভিযোগ অনুযায়ী পার্কের ১৯টি ভালুককে ছোট ও স্যাঁতসেঁতে সেলে রাখা হয়েছে এবং হাতিগুলোও দীর্ঘ সময় শেকলে বাঁধা থাকে, ফলে স্বাভাবিকভাবে চলাফেরার সুযোগ পায় না।

একটি বন্যপ্রাণীকে পাচারকারীর হাত থেকে উদ্ধার করাই দায়িত্বের শেষ নয়। তাকে একটি সুস্থ পরিবেশে বাঁচার সুযোগ করে দেওয়াটাও আমাদের দায়িত্ব। বনের স্বাধীন প্রাণীকে উদ্ধার করে যদি বছরের পর বছর ছোট একটি ঘরেই বন্দি রাখা হয়, তাহলে সেই রক্ষা করার অর্থ কী? প্রশ্নটা থেকেই যায়।

মুজিবনগর—শুধু একটি জায়গা নয়, বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতার ইতিহাসের এক জীবন্ত অধ্যায়। এখানেই ১৯৭১ সালের ১৭ এপ্রিল স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশের প্রথম সরকার শপথ নেয়। আজও এই মাটিতে দাঁড়ালে মনে হয়—ইতিহাস আর বর্তমান যেন পাশাপাশি কথা বলে।

Mujibnagar is more than just a place—it is a living chapter of Bangladesh’s independence. Here, on 17 April 1971, the first government of independent Bangladesh took oath. Even today, standing on this historic soil, it feels as though the past and the present are speaking side by side.
