Our head of Chamber Barrister Shihab Uddin Khan moderated one of the sessions on "The Politics of Survival" at the 'Bay of Bengal' conversation organized by the Center for Governance Studies (CGS). Mr. David Morris, CEO (Tasmania), Australia China Business Council, Australia and Mrs. Mariyam Nasir, Director General, Ministry of Education, Maldives were with him as speakers.

The conference had a truly global standard. The conference had diverse participation of participants from over 85 countries with the theme "Rivals, Ruptures, Realignments".

A group of brilliant law students met with our head of Chamber Barrister Shihab Uddin Khan yesterday. The students are currently enrolled in the LL.M. program in Legal and Human Rights Studies at the University of Asia Pacific, Dhaka. Among them, two are from Bhutan, one from Nepal, and one from Kashmir. The foreign students received full scholarships provided by the South Asia Foundation (SAF). Zakaria Polash, the general secretary of the South Asia Foundation-Bangladesh Chapter was with them. They had valuable conversations on various academic issues, international policies, and the necessity of mutual cooperation.
